Far from the days of recording in a mice-inhabited countryside bungalow, Goldfrapp’s newest album ‘Head First’ is a fresh musical salute to the ‘80s, coming from their single ‘Rocket’. With plenty of synth-pop tracks taking mystical trips with a euphoric rush, this album should be plenty of reason to put on the fluoro and act a little crazy on your feet.
If you get to see Goldfrapp and see Alison sporting a pink jumpsuit, you know you’ve found the right candidate to represent the old 80’s nostalgia of ABBA and Olivia Newton-John.
